The short version. All fees are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time, and you keep full access until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not prorate, and we do not refund unused time.
1. No refunds
Subscription fees and add-on fees are charged monthly in advance and are non-refundable, in whole or in part. This includes:
- periods you did not use, or used less than you expected;
- the remainder of a month after you cancel;
- changes of mind, or the Service not producing the results you hoped for;
- months in which you did not connect a social account or publish anything;
- the outreach add-on, including where campaigns produced no replies.
We price this way because the cost of running the Service — AI generation, video rendering, storage and delivery — is incurred as soon as your agents start working, whether or not you log in.
2. Cancelling
Cancel at any time from your billing settings, or by writing to contact@hanuxai.com from the address on your account. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not trigger a refund of the current period.
- You keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for.
- After that, publishing stops, your agents are paused, and generated media may be removed on our normal retention schedule — see Privacy Policy, section 9.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date. A renewal that has already been charged stands.
Export anything you want to keep before your access ends. Published posts stay on the social platforms where they were posted; they are not withdrawn when you cancel.
3. Upgrades, downgrades and add-ons
- Upgrades take effect immediately and are charged on a prorated basis for the rest of the current period.
- Downgrades take effect at your next renewal. We do not credit or refund the difference for the current period.
- The outreach add-on is billed separately from your base plan and follows the same rules. Removing it stops the next add-on charge; unused sending allowance is not refunded and does not carry over.
- Monthly usage allowances reset at renewal and do not roll over.
4. Trials and free plans
If you are on a trial, cancel before it ends to avoid being charged. Once a trial converts, the first month is charged and is non-refundable like any other month.
Plans granted through an invite are provided free of charge and at our discretion. There is nothing to refund, and we may withdraw or change them at any time.
5. When we will refund
Despite the above, we will issue a refund where:
- You were charged in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after a valid cancellation, or a charge on an account you never opened. Tell us within 60 days and we will refund it in full.
- The law requires it. If you are a consumer with statutory withdrawal or refund rights that cannot be waived, those rights apply and this policy does not limit them.
- A prolonged outage on our side prevented the Service from working for a substantial part of a billing period. We will normally issue service credit; a cash refund is at our discretion.
Failures caused by third parties outside our control — a social platform withdrawing API access, suspending your account, or rejecting your posts — are not grounds for a refund. See Terms of Service, section 6.
6. Suspension for breach
If we suspend or terminate your account for breach of the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use Policy — including spam complaints arising from the outreach add-on — no refund is due for the remainder of the period.
7. How to ask
Email contact@hanuxai.com from the address on your account, with the charge date and amount. We will respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe and typically settle within 5 to 10 business days.
Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank. A chargeback filed without contacting us first may result in immediate suspension of your account while it is resolved. We would almost always rather just sort it out.
8. Changes
This policy is version 1.0, effective 2026-07-27. Changes apply to billing periods beginning after they are published; they never apply retroactively to a charge already made.
